Grand Beach Hotel Surfside

Everything was great with the hotel, but their kitchen was partially closed “for the season” we were told so the food was pretty poor and they didn’t let you bring your own food or drinks to the pool area and had exorbitant prices for their substandard food that they served. That’s the only complaint. Everything else was great

It’s a lovely hotel, very spacious rooms. My only complaint is that they don’t offer bottled or filtered water in the gym. All they had were water fountains/bubblers. For such a beautiful hotel, I found that to be disappointing and inconvenient.

I stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel in Surfside for a full week and it was the best experience ever. The room was spotless, the beds were super comfortable, and the ocean views were amazing. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made everything easy. The pools, the beach access, and the quiet, relaxed vibe made this trip perfect. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Surfside.

Our stay at the Grand Beach Hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff truly makes all the difference. A special mention to the beach staff. They are adorable, attentive, and always make sure everything is perfect. Stéphane deserves a huge thank you. He is extremely professional, welcoming, and genuinely cares about guests. Overall, the staff is just wow. Friendly, warm, and always available. The food is incredible, the hotel is very clean, and everything is extremely well maintained. You can tell a lot of care goes into every detail. I 1000% recommend staying at this hotel. An amazing experience from start to finish.

Prior to leaving for my trip, I read the more recent reviews and was terrified. I don't usually leave reviews, but felt compelled to ensure a more accurate, recent depiction of this hotel was available. I'm a solo female traveller who came to this hotel for a long weekend of recharging. I was pleasantly surprised upon my arrival. The lobby is beautiful and the person at the Front Desk was helpful and pleasant. The hotel has had everything I need for a easy restful stay. Cobin at the lobby bar is great and Camilla, the server on the beach, is equally wonderful. Johan, my dinner server both nights, was wonderful and took great care of me. The men setting up pool chairs were also lovely and super helpful. The spa was small, but great. The owner was very nice and the massage was extremely relaxing. The room was fine. It's been cleaned every day. It's exactly what you would expect from a four star hotel on the beachfront. The restaurant menu was a bit limited, but everything I ordered was delicious. The only feedback I'd give is to relax a bit with the wristbands. I requested to wear it on my ankle given I'm wearing shorts or a bathing suit at all times and the staff was very rigid about not allowing this and gave me no good reason why I couldn't. It's a very small thing, but was a bit annoying. Also, they're a bit shortstaffed. Everyone was great - just working really really hard - with understandable delays at times. Both these items didn't impact my overall experience at the hotel, which was wonderful. I look forward to my last day at the beach tomorrow and plan on coming back whenever I need a quick break from the hustle and bustle.

Amazing place! Location is perfect. Beach is fabulous! Over priced and prices continue to climb. No kosher food at lobby restaurant which is dumbfounding.

Amazing hotel with the best service. Michael Angelo at the front desk took care of all my needs. The room was spacious and clean. The pool area was perfect with so many private seating areas. We especially enjoyed the adult only roof top pool. Will definitely be coming back and will tell all of my friends/family to come too

We recently stayed at Grand Beach Hotel Surfside with our family and as part of a group. While we initially experienced a misunderstanding regarding a room upgrade and some room comfort issues, we truly appreciated the way management handled the situation. Ms. Garcia, the Front Office Manager, demonstrated professionalism, patience, and genuine care in reviewing our concerns and working toward a fair resolution. Her follow-up and personal involvement made a real difference. We also appreciated the assistance of Clémence, who helped facilitate communication during our stay. What matters most is not that challenges never arise, but how they are handled — and in our case, the hotel showed accountability and a willingness to make things right. We look forward to returning in the future.
